Five persons set ablaze dalit girl in Vidisha

"In an act of savagery, a dalit girl was set ablaze by four youths with the help of a woman in Kazipura area of Vidisha town on Wednesday evening. The 18-year-old girl, Manisha Ahirwar, who sustained 90% burns, has been referred to Bhopal for treatment. The condition of the girl is stated to be critical, police said. "In dying declaration, the victim said Sonu Rajput, Monu Rajput, Anuj Sundar Singh, Rakesh Khatik and Banno Ahirwar came to her house, poured kerosene oil before setting her ablaze," Vidisha SP D S Choudhary told TOI..."
