"...But there is more to this controversy. According to Irani's affidavit filed with the Election Commission of India in 2004 (below), she holds a bachelor's degree in arts from the Delhi University (School of Correspondence). She passed out in 1996, says the declaration signed by her. Interestingly, in the recent 2014 election affidavit (below) with the Election Commission, Irani claimed that she only completed Part I (first year) of her bachelor's degree in commerce in the year 1994 from Delhi University's School of Open Learning (correspondence). Obviously, both cannot be right.
"I have no knowledge in the field whatsoever. However, to be honest, the 2014 elections captured my attention and I liked the official Facebook page of AAP to be updated. Today, I saw a photo posted by the page and opened the comments. I saw this comment at the top... It had about 100 likes at that time. I looked away for a few moments, and when I saw it again, the number had risen to around 400. This might be normal for high-volume pages like this, but it got my attention.
"Gujarat intelligence and anti-terrorist squad officers stalked and snooped on Madhuri beyond the boundaries of the state. Her would-be husband, parents, brothers and friends were under surveillance too. And this had nothing to do with her personal safety or national security. A Saheb in Gujarat was interested in knowing the details of her love life... It's no longer an internal matter of Gujarat.
The Snoopgate story starts with the abduction and cold-blooded murder of an innocent young woman, who was framed as a terrorist by her killers [1]. One of them, G.L. Singhal, kept recordings of his telephone conversations with Minister of State for Home Amit Shah, in case he might need them to exonerate his own conduct. It is clips from these recorded conversations that were released by Gulail and Cobrapost.
"Adani Group was given 2008.41 hectare reserve forest land, which falls in Mundra and Dhrub villages in the Kutch east forest division, for Solar Salt Project & Salt Washery Plant on the condition that it would make compensatory afforestation over equivalent non-forest land and to bear the cost of raising and maintaining compensatory afforestation.
"Ahead of general elections in six months, the snooping allegations have put Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) prime minister-designate Narendra Modi on the backfoot, especially when the saffron party's responses to the charges have been weak and unconvincing. Narendra Modi has topped several recent opinion polls, but the charges could tarnish his carefully crafted image as a pro-business and graft-free administrator..."
"Much before the controversy of snooping on a young architect and a senior IAS officer in Gujarat was exposed, the State Intelligence Bureau had drawn the attention of the Narendra Modi government to rampant state-sponsored phone tapping. The Bureau had apprehended "trouble and controversies in future" in an official letter and demanded a strict phone interception policy..."
"Between September 2011 and February 2012 Modi organised 34 Sadbhavna Fast programmes in Gujarat extensively covered by Media and the project ‘Image Makeover’ was launched fraudulently using public money.
We are presenting the facts available with us below which clearly establish :
"Indian polity's home truth out is in the open. Senior BJP leader & former party president Nitin Gadkari has made his party's policy clear. On a tv debate programme, Nitin Gadkari is seen justifying the presence of criminal politicians in a party. He says that if tickets are given only to honest people, the party will not win a single seat."
"Earlier this year, Gujarat Congress had submitted to the Governor Dr Kamla and the president a detailed list of '17 scams' that had allegedly taken place under the Modi government. It demanded probe by an independent agency. Last week, when it was getting apparent that a Lok Ayukta for the state was close, the state government set up an enquiry commission to be headed by retired Justice MB Shah. The following is the list of alleged scams submitted by the Congress to the Gujarat governor and the president..."
