'The Karnataka Police on Saturday arrested three Kashmiri students studying at the KLE Institute of Technology in Hubballi under charges of sedition. The arrests came after the Bajrang Dal, the youth wing of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, staged protests inside the college calling the three students ‘anti-nationals’ for raising slogans purportedly in favour of Pakistan in a video. On Saturday morning, a student of the college, also a member of Bajrang Dal, received a video on WhatsApp of the three Kashmiri students and alleged that the three students had hailed Pakistan in the video.
'Migrant workers were once again targeted in Bangalore when a group of 50 armed men came in with JCB machines, allegedly attacked residents and demolished 30 dwellings at Munnekolala near Marathahalli on Thursday, reported The Hindu. When the residents tried to question the men, they were allegedly kicked. Three people, including a woman and her six-month old son, sustained injuries and were admitted to Bowring hospital. It was reported that people, including several women and the caretaker of the property were also assaulted when they tried to stop the demolition...'

'The Bidar police on Tuesday questioned minor students of the Shaheen Primary School for the fifth time in connection with the sedition case registered against the school’s management and one parent. The sedition case was slapped after students staged a play, which was against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) on January 21. 'The Karnataka police on Monday told the High Court of Karnataka that Swamy Nithyananda, who has absconded from India, was on a "spiritual tour". This was in response to the direction passed by the Court on January 31 to serve notice on Nithyananda in a petition seeking cancellation of bail granted to him in a rape case of 2010. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Balraj B, who is the investigating officer in the case, filed a report before the court stating that the notice issued on Friday was served on Kumari Archanananda, an aide of absconding accused.
